| Wow,
Um, yeah it's really been a while. I haven't been on this thing in months. Sorry about that folks. I guess I just got really busy with classes and things that I never really took the time to sit down and keep on journaling.
Well, I guess if you guys are all still keeping up with this thing, I'll come out of my hiding. Here are the updates.
1. I still have a job at Ozzy's! I know, it's a wonder that they haven't gotten sick of me yet.
It amazes me too. However, I no longer hold a job at LBC's Help Hesk. I haven't been able to fit it into my schedule this semester.
2. I made the play! "You Have the Right to Remain Dead" Interesting title if I do say so myself. It's murder mystery/comedy, and it's DESSERT THEATER! I almost wish that I were watching so that I could much on the goodies. The show is the last weekend in March, so you all have to come.
3. I'm updating on my brand spanking new homemade computer. Built completely by myself, It runs beautifully, except for a few blue screens here and there saying, "YOU IDIOT! WHY DID YOU THINK THAT YOU COULD BUILD YOUR OWN COMPUTER???" It's not that bad.
4. I have a girlfriend! She's real pretty too. We've been dating for about 2 and a half months now, and it's a wonder to me that she hasn't gotten sick of me yet, but hey, I'm not complaining!
Anywho, that's about it. I'll try to keep you all updated better from now on.

| You know what really grinds my gears? A great number of
different things. There are a whole lot of things that many of us
Christians do that really don't make a whole lot of sense. This
update may upset some of you, and I would like you all to know that I
am not singling out anyone when I refer to any of these different
things. If you have feelings hurt very easily, stop reading now.
I sick and tired of...
People who say blame God for different things that happen in their
lives. God has a purpose and a plan for absolutely everything
that he does (Jer. 29:11). God knows exactly what he is
doing. Example: If you are in a relationship, God put you
there. For whatever reason it was, HE LET IT HAPPEN. He
planned it. And he has a reason for it. Whether the reason
is to show you who you the kind of person you want to marry, or the
kind of person that you don't want to marry, or WHATEVER, God did it
for a reason and for his purpose. If the relationship ends badly,
don't sit around and sulk. Learn from it, and stop complaining.
I'm sick and tired of ...
People who make mistakes in their lives, and then sit around and pout
about what a bad person they are because they constantly make
mistakes. Guess what. We ALL make mistakes. NO ONE
makes worse mistakes than another person. God hates ALL sin the
SAME and that means that if you lie to someone, it's the same as if you
killed them. Humans are the ones that put different values on
different sins. God never did that. Rom. 3:23 does not say
that some have sinned but
that ALL have sinned. I will say that this is NOT in any way an
excuse to just go around and do whatever you want. We are all to
strive for excellence, but not perfection. Yes, I know, once we
are forgiven, we are clean and white as snow in the eyes of the Lord,
but the fact of the matter is that we all STILL SIN. God hates
it. Don't sit around and sulk. Learn from it and STOP
COMPLAINING.
I'm sick and tired of...
People using God
as an excuse for different things.
Example: "I've decided to take a year off from college because I
really need to get more in touch with God." or "I decided
to give up video games and TV because I really need to spend that time
with God." or the best one, "I decided that God didn't
really want me in a relationship right now so I broke it off."
Whatever people. First off, whenever anyone says, "I
decided....that God..." means that YOU decided what GOD has to
say. Since when is that EVER your decision. Give me a
break. This is the one that I
really can't stand. I don't believe that ANYONE, when they decide
to do these things, is actually doing it because of God. I
believe that, and this is from personal experience (meaning that I am
not blameless in this matter), people are actually doing it for a
completely different reason that doesn't have anything to do with
God. If you want to give up video games and TV to spend time with
the Lord, God bless ya, but just make sure that the time that you gain
is actually spent with the Lord. This makes your reasoning
valid. If you just end up filling it with other things, your
reason for giving these things up is no longer to spend more time with
God, but instead it is to spend more time with those other
things. Furthermore, I seriously doubt that God in some way gave
these people a
revelation either from a Bible passage, or a song, or from someone else
saying, "This is God, take a year off from college so that you can
spend more time with me. I would like you to spend your time with
me, instead of preparing yourself for the future." or "Hi
this is God. I would like you to break up with your
boyfriend/girlfriend so you can spend some more quality time with
me." Puh-LEASE people! Second off, on the breaking up
thing,
you don't have to break up with your boyfriend/girlfriend to spend more
time with God. Did it ever cross your mind that you can spend
time with God together??? "Wait, you mean that my devotions in
the morning don't absolutely HAVE to be just by myself, but can be with
other people??? Is that allowed?" If you break up with
someone and use the excuse that God doesn't want you in a relationship
right now, at least stick to your excuse and don't date anyone for a
couple months! If God doesn't want you in
a relationship at this point, I seriously doubt that it would take less
than 4 WEEKS for him
to change his mind. Basically, If you don't have a REALLY GOOD
reason to break up with someone, do your best to try and make it
work. If you actually feel that it just isn't working out, just
SAY THAT,
don't make up an excuse with God in it and use that as a reason to
break up with someone.
I'm sorry I'm ranting and raving. However I do not apologize if
this offended people. IT WAS NOT MEANT IN ANY WAY TO OFFEND
ANYONE. To quote Brad Stine, "I'm sick and tired of the over-use
of the word "offensive" in our country." I, myself, am really
tired of people being offended by something that isn't meant to be
offensive, and if Brad Stine won't apologize for it, neither will I.

no seriously stop the poem. My mind is drawing complete blanks. I thought the poem idea would be fun, but apparently, my brian is telling me otherwise. So I'm just gonna stop right about there. Yeah. That sounds good.
Anywho. I needed to update with SOMETHING so I thought that this would be rather clever. However, I seriously overestimated my brian's ability to be clever on the spot.
So I took my CD exam on Thursday. That wasn't fun. It's especially not fun when he tells us what he's looking for during the class AFTER the exam. Thanks a lot, appreciate it! Anyway, I wrote a total of about 5 pages of essay. 3 1/2 for Packard's question and another 1 1/2 for Sidebothom's. I hope that I at LEAST got a C. I asked God for at least a D. I just want to pass this class and get it over with.
So yesterday was "Dress up as a superhero day" for heritage week at LBC. I seriously wanted to dress up and go to class as Quail-Man. You know, the hero that Doug used to draw all the time? Yeah him. | Yeah, so um.... It's been a while... Again.
Sorry I haven't had much of a chance to update this thing, I've been
hideously overworked over the last few weeks with two jobs, 15 credits,
and a CD exam this coming Thursday. I'm not asking for pity, I'm
asking for prayers. Prayer that I'll be able to keep my mind on
work and not on most other things that tend to take up much of my time.
Anywho. It has now been 4 parties in a row that have not tipped
me at all. Bummer. Someone seriously needs to make sure
that the people know that tips should not be just appreciated, but
expected. Come on, 30 dollars for 2 parties to cover a 45 minute
commute to work isn't enough. Get on the ball people.
Enough venting. I must be off to bed. Bye
